Master of Chemistry in Analytical Chemistry

Illinois Tech’s Master of Chemistry in Analytical Chemistry is a non-thesis master’s degree designed for professionals interested in pursuing their graduate education in analytical chemistry with a focus on the applications for business and industry, education, government, and the military. This online master's degree provides students with a solid foundation in separation science, spectroscopy, and method development. Our students will also have the opportunity to take classes in communication, industrial leadership, statistics, and business principles, which are essential for a scientific career in the business world. The program’s 32 hours of coursework can be completed remotely in 2.5 years of part-time study, though students have the option of coming to Chicago for the practical laboratory class. All students will need to take the final oral exam, which is administered on the Mies Campus in Chicago. Students should consult for more information.
