Minimum degree credits required: 32
The student must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0/4.0 in the core courses. Aside from the core courses, coursework may be selected (with adviser approval) to satisfy the needs of the individual student.
Up to nine credit hours in 400-level courses may be selected in some cases to overcome deficiencies or broaden the student’s background. In addition, master’s degree students take six to eight credit hours of research (ENVE 591). The final step in this program is an oral defense of the thesis; no additional written comprehensive exam is required.
