The Certificate in Distributed and Cloud Computing is intended for students who are interested in learning about distributed systems and how they are applied to real world problems, as well as how emerging cloud computing technologies can be used to implement some of the world’s most popular services and applications.

Certificate programs offer working professionals an opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in the specific areas of computer science. A certificate representing proven academic performance is presented after the required nine credit hours of coursework is completed with a GPA of 3.0/4.0. Courses taken may be later applied toward a computer science master's degree program.
