The Certificate in Software Engineering is intended for students who want to increase their knowledge and skills in software design, development, and maintenance.

Certificate programs offer working professionals an opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in the specific areas of computer science. A certificate representing proven academic performance is presented after the required nine credit hours of coursework is completed with a GPA of 3.0/4.0. Courses taken may be later applied toward a computer science master's degree program.
